1. The Campus Code of Conduct
You own what you sell: Absolutely no reselling of stolen goods or campus property.
Strictly No Contraband: Posting vapes, alcohol, drugs, or weapons will result in a permanent ban OR an immediate fine of R300.
Buyer Protection & Payouts: Buyer payments are held during the inspection and release process. Once a buyer confirms receipt, your seller payout becomes available and can be requested manually via PayShap or EFT. Manual payouts usually take 48-72 hours.
Safety First (In-Person): We mandate that all physical exchanges happen in safe, public, and well-lit campus areas (e.g., student centers, libraries, cafeterias).
Courier Disputes & Protection: If an item is couriered and the buyer requests a refund, they must provide a continuous, unedited unboxing video to prove the item's condition. This strictly protects you against fraudulent claims.
Zero Tolerance for Scams: Any fraudulent behavior results in an immediate, permanent ban and a potential report to campus authorities.

Buyer Protection
Here is how Campus Exchange keeps your money 100% safe:
1. Pay Securely
Your payment goes directly into Campus Exchange's secure escrow, not to the seller. This completely protects you from fraud.
2. Receive Secure Code
After payment, you will receive a unique, secret collection code. Keep this code safe!
3. Meet the Seller
Arrange to meet the seller on campus. Thoroughly inspect the item to ensure you are happy with it.
4. Handover Code
If you are satisfied, give the code to the seller. Once entered, funds are released. If there's an issue, keep your code and contact support for a refund.
